Be there when a child is born or when a person dies, lead a service more times than you can think..missing meals if that means being available for this person or that. Do you know that feeling?
A message that you are convicted to preach that almost everyone in your family may not understand or people turn away from you because they don't want to hear about The Love and Just Ways of The Lord. Or you want to be loving but that may mean saying NO when in some way you'd rather say YES but The conviction. Knee deep in Prayer and in Scripture staying sharp and even rebuking  all day long. With all this we have pastors who do care and who do want to be available to you .They also need your prayers and your gentle words. News Flash: They are People too. They use toilet paper like you and me. Send a loving Thank you card or buy lunch for your pastor.As for me and my pastors Rick and Pat. I love you both!

SERVICE-House Keeping

Order. We Need that in every area of ours Lives. One thing That The Lord does is Clean up your house. You want that. You want that? No one stuck with Jesus as He was taken, beaten, and given up at The Cross.Disowned by His own Disciples? Saints? Yes. He did come back(He rose again!) and He did Forgive them and He did still show them love and they are well right now. So at church there are people who work on keeping things organized. In The Offices, In The Sanctuary, In The Books, Leaders leading right. Fresh cut grass, vacuums on and running, trash taken out. 

SERVICE-Prayer Warriors

You believe that The Word of God is True-then you Believe that Prayer is Real and He not only hears you but He can help you-wants to help you. Prayer Warriors believe that..They Believe that Prayer is a First Resort not a last, never thought of strength! We need Prayer Warriors approaching Boldly ! It takes effort , Focus, compassion, and a love for The Lord.If you are not sure if this is your calling ask HIM. Hebrews 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need

SERVICE. Wrapped up in what is "wrong"

in your Ministry. We are people and we have to get along with other people.We all are sinners and though we try we do not always get it right, or understand each other or are we on the same page.

Here an unsuspecting Pastor Flo assists a 'senior'. She has her way of saying thank you..a little agitated but Flo tries to still help her to Sunday Morning Service without complaint. Under that grey wig is actor Greg Robbins(oops spoiler alert).

SERVICE episode. In the start of this episode we get a glimpse at

most Ministries operating on an early Sunday Morning hours before The Sunday Service.

Here Mrs.Bubble has called very concerned no  one has come to visit her at The Hospital.  After some clarification it discovered by Laurie Mrs 'Bumble' does not attend Merlin Church(though Mrs. Bubble does). In real life we most likely would visit her no matter if she attended church or not. Perhaps that is the point of The Big Picture and how "trying too hard to solve it on our own" to do our Ministry we forget the importance of Him in all parts of our lives..even in serving Him we need Jesus! 

SERVICE Episode. The one that stands out immediately at "Church"

Is The Pastor. Our Pastor Greg may receive the Credit and the blame of what happens at Merlin Church yet The Big Picture(what This Episode reminds us) is found n The Word of God. It's about God, The Son of God, about The Greatest Commandments - Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:37-39.
Yet when we do talk about SERVING there are many neighbors involved and a heart to serve.

FEAR of Flying- Laurie

Laurie the receptionist has a fear of flying. The Scene is in the Church Office and as our Pastor Greg talks to Laurie about attending a Church Function in another state FLYING comes up as the logical means of transportation. Fears can be hard to confess to others and even to ourselves. Yet are they also slowing us from being what The Lord would have us be? Is The Fear too

far for The Lord to take from you?As we find our Pastor Greg on The Church Roof trying to throw the fear from Laurie it is The Lord who they go to. Also finding out that Our receptionist thinks no one will miss her Greg tells her EVEN That is a FEAR for every one will miss her. Your friend may seem like they are prying into your life but they may just see the burden and want to help.

Fear can overtake any one..we will look at the Episode called "Fear"

Can we overthink things? Can we forget that God helps us overcome fear or are we overwhelmed or thinking we can do it all by ourselves? Is there a scripture that comes to mind? Maybe from Genesis Chapter 15: 1 HE said to Abram, After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

May this bring you some peace.

My Pastor Judges me....could I be judging them too?

What does judging mean? A parent can judge whether their child needs help or is playing. The Bible is filled with people making bad decisions, doing wrong things.....not listening to God or others. In the Books of Kings like First and Second Chronicles and First and Second Kings we are told when and when not a King is pleasing God. Seeking Idols and bowing down to them is what it commonly says when not following God's ways. Take another look at your pastors and see how they may really be "Judging" you. If they actually do read The Bible and seek God they know The right kind of Judging-like a dad to his kid..and a desire to see him do right.Let them know how you are.

Andrea has a talent-she sings yet would she get her chance to share the Gift? She is here asking The Pastor for counsel and prayer. If you have a very obvious gift do you see it and would God use it to glorify Himself?

Reason to encourage The Pastor

Wait! Why do I have to encourage my pastor? They need it more than you may know. Pastors are people and people are not perfect-even pastors who may want to cross every "T" and dot every "I" are not perfect and they might even tell you that. The danger can come when a person puts so much stock in a person they could forget the God  and then when there is an imperfect issue that person becomes very upset or disgusted by The Church. I know celebrities that want to be perfect and maybe you do too.And fans are torn up when they do fall. Remember The God you do serve or if you are not attending a church consider putting your stock into a pastor who teaches The whole Bible. Pray for them and tell them you care. Summer stuff for the kids?

Summer is here in USA and that could mean kids home on vacation from Public School. A Prayer could be that you find things for your kids to do. You part of a church? Check one out that teaches The Bible and they may also have a VBS going on too. Faith may be trusting that God -Jesus Christ provide good and upright things for your young ones to learn this summer. I guess I am jumping on this a little late my church has one starting in mid July.

Thanks for checking it out. What is one reason people even go to church? To impress others? To impress myself ? To just hang with others?

"Heaven Help Us" no home yet.

Hi guys I was curious if this show would be picked up. Greg shot a "pilot " several months ago. Latest is no home yet.

 He plays a retired cop thankful that the kids are out of the nest yet who now has a bait and tackle shop and now the kids start coming back home. Some comedy and drama of parents patience,wisdom, understandings and how to get there perhaps. Like a next chapter in life-so many could relate.
 What could it be like to have a regular TV Comedy on TV/Cable with a finely tuned ensemble of actors that call Jesus Christ Lord? Would it be "regular" or could it have so many wonderful lessons and challenges for us all it could encourage church attendance and a desire to serve and be in The Word? 'Could be. I am praying for the cast and crew and "Heaven Help Us"!

A stunt in Episode ONE with a paper cup and a coin

Greg Robbins just had to pick up a papercup off the ground and then put in a trash can a few inches away. The Gag is some passersby are to think he is "begging" for money. So in the seconds he picks up the cup to the time he trashes it he holds it up long enough for a coin (or a few coins) to be tossed and land in it.
This may appear very simple and it was written in the script Greg Robbins told me not added last minute

. And required great timing. After several takes they got the look they wanted.

Getting Caught up: holding at Episode #5

Pastor Greg is the title of a TV series that ran on Christian TV stations through the country from 2002 and 2005.It was considered The First Christian sit com. We started putting up scenes from Episode #1 "First Impressions" and have held up at Episode #5 "Patience" a two part-er involving the walk of  Character 'George' who is in both #4 and #5 "Stress" and "Patience". Your Hero let you down a reason to Know Jesus

The latest things in the news about a Wealthy NBA Basketball Owner has overwhelmed the media. Emotions running high in Players, Coaches, Other Owners, and Fans! A sign of Racism. A sign of hatred. A sign of we must do something. And though it is reasonable and honorable to do something if we have Goodness in us , Integrity in us, do we allow emotions to overtake us and possibly run off doing something inappropriate, or unjust? This comes back to Jesus Christ and where we see Him in our life. This comes back to who do we look up to first. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you...Difficult to hold emotions at bay yet we are grown ups and mature and if we know Jesus Christ we do have help , we do have strength and peace to do the upright thing. Not blaming others but trying to set things right. Calling out what is not just by the rules we follow as a Christian, as an American, and in this case as a NBA member. Let your hero start with Jesus Christ , look to Him and He can strengthen you which is what we all need. No Fear, no anxiety, no worry. Don't harbor evil thoughts.
 And pray for all involved. When things go crazy you can really see integrity best. And where it is lacking.

My name is Adam and my friend and partner on this blog is Paul and we both say what a wonderful time this is .Talking about Jesus Christ In America is a Privilege and we know in some countries it is a danger to many who do speak about His Love and Way. Thanks to God that we know Him He can change your life and change everything in a Good Way! Keep praying that He would deliver our friends in harms way! He is Hope! Be Strong and of Good Courage. Those who are in relationships where standing is more difficult..or seeming impossible Our God is a loving God and He does have One way...You must seek him and turn away from things that though you may not see them as dangers they are dangers. From 'Pastor Greg' Episode "Stress"

God is working. He knows what is on your mind and He knows what He is doing.Are you in trouble or have lost someone close, or upset about things in your life, or even feeling like He can't or won't hear you?? Take a moment to seek Him.Get away in a quiet place and pray..and ask Him. Open your bible to a favorite verse or  Psalm 139 where He is showing us He is there when you and I were being born not to mention we can't lose Him!. Connect with others that know you . That can pray with you and for your real need. A sometimes difficult hurdle is telling others your hurt and your struggle. I don't like to tell others that I am vulnerable and that I am struggling. But is it not pride that can keep us from so much that He has for us?
